A magnetic gripper is a transmission device that can clamp ferromagnetic charges by a strong electro permanent magnet.
The “double magnet” technology uses the electric current only during the magnetising and demagnetising phase.
The effective force is generated by permanent magnets. In the event of a power failure, the workpiece remains clamped.
